Hi. I'm back.

It had been a very rough week last week. And while I know this is a written record of my journey, I wasn't in a mood to post. I knew that it would degenerate into a few bad beat stories, and I don't want this blog to become that.

With that in mind, I'm staying away from the cash tables. Again. Wow, it's almost like I've said that before.

Going back to the SnGs. I'm really having a great deal of success with these. Sunday I went 0-2, taking a few beats in the process, but I've moneyed in five straight again. Not quite as powerful as my streak before, as it's been 2-1-2 in the placement spectrum, but a money is a money. All in preflops I've won 3 dominated hands, but lost 4, and also lost an overpair hand. I suppose that's not fair to count them like that, as it's far more likely for me to get my money in dominating than dominated, but that's how I'll forever count them. And I demand they be even!

So my confidence is back. Three straight winning sessions does wonders for one's self esteem and confidence. My play had lagged due to the beats at the cash games - no matter how hard I try, it seems my play takes a hit (there's one hand in particular that I really, REALLY misplayed), and this was good to get me back on target.



In other news, my seat assignment for the Main Event is Day 3 Table 40 Seat 3. I'll spend day 1 watching the tournament, taking notes and making sure I know what's going on. Day 2 will be spent relaxing. Days 3-n will be spent hopefully not going broke.
